Today, we celebrate a beautiful milestone in Meka’s life as she officially completes her journey here at Hoving Home!

Meka, your story is a reminder that God is still in the business of restoring lives, rewriting stories, and making all things new. This journey has been about so much more than completing a program. It has been about choosing a new path, embracing growth, and trusting God with the chapters still to come.

We know that the road to restoration isn’t always easy, but every step forward is worth celebrating. We are so proud of you and grateful that we had the opportunity to be part of your journey.

As you step into this next season, our prayer is that you never forget how far God has brought you or how much purpose He has placed within you. Your past does not define you, and your story is far from over!

Congratulations, Meka! We love you, we are cheering you on, and we cannot wait to see all that God has in store for you!

Hoving Home offers residential options designed to meet women at different points in their journey, including our new 90-day program and longer-term opportunities for continued growth and transformation.

Our NY program also provides an opportunity for mothers with young, non-school-aged children to come to Hoving Home together. Mothers entering the program with their children participate in our 12-month program.

At the Hoving Home Leadership Academy, we believe that God doesn’t just transform lives — He prepares women to lead, serve, and make a difference!

Our Leadership Academy is about so much more than sitting in a classroom or completing assignments. It’s about building character, growing in faith, discovering God-given purpose, and learning what it truly means to lead with a servant’s heart.

Every day brings new opportunities to grow, be challenged, step outside of comfort zones, and become the women God has called them to be.

We aren’t looking for perfection. We’re looking for progress, willingness, and hearts that are ready to be used by God.

Because your past may be part of your story, but it doesn’t have to determine your future!

❤️ YOU ARE NOT ALONE. ❤️

Somewhere tonight, there is a woman who feels broken, forgotten, ashamed, and unsure if her life can ever be different. Maybe she’s struggling with addiction, homelessness, trauma, or simply trying to find her way back after everything she’s been through.

But we want her to know something: her story is not over, and there is hope in Jesus. 🙏🏻

At Hoving Home, we believe that no woman is beyond the reach of God’s love and restoring power. Through Christ-centered programs, women have the opportunity to heal, grow, and begin building a new life rooted in faith.

From the outside, Raquel looked like she was holding everything together. She worked hard, raised her two sons, served in ministry, and cared for everyone around her.

Inside, she was struggling.

“I wasn’t really living,” Raquel shared. “I was surviving.”

At Hoving Home, Raquel received something she desperately needed: the gift of time. Time to face the pain she had buried, renew her mind through God’s Word, and allow Jesus to heal her heart.

Then, during her first canoeing trip, one quiet moment on the river showed her just how much had changed.

Today, Raquel can say, “I’m not just surviving anymore. I’m enjoying the life God has given me.”

What a beautiful day of fellowship, worship, and making memories! ❤️

A heartfelt thank you to PWOC for so graciously hosting our Hoving Home Choir and giving us the opportunity to share our voices and testimonies of God’s goodness! We were also blessed with a tour of the beautiful West Point Military Academy!

We are so grateful for the warm welcome, kindness, and hospitality shown to our ladies. Days like these are such a special reminder of the doors God opens and the wonderful people He places along our journey of restoration.

Thank you for making our ladies feel so loved and welcomed! What a blessing this day was!

This Sunday, our very own Leadership Academy student, Ava, brought the WORD!

What a blessing it was to see Ava step out in faith, boldly share God’s Word, and allow the Lord to use her in such a powerful way!

At Hoving Home Leadership Academy, we believe leadership is about more than learning skills. It’s about growing in your relationship with Christ, discovering the gifts God has placed inside you, and having the courage to step into the calling He has for your life.

Moments like these are what the Academy is all about! Watching women grow in confidence, develop their God-given gifts, and become the leaders God has called them to be!

We are so proud of you, Ava! Keep allowing God to use your voice for His glory!

💙 This is what surrender can look like.

This past week, one of our North Carolina women stepped onto a bus and headed to the Hoving Home in New York.

She didn’t leave because everything was suddenly okay.
She didn’t leave because the road ahead will be easy.
She left because Jesus was calling her into something different.

And sometimes faith looks like that.

It looks like packing the little you have, walking away from the life you once knew, and trusting Jesus with every mile between where you’ve been and where He is taking you.

We don’t know every battle she has fought.
We don’t know every tear that has been cried when nobody was watching.
But Jesus knows.

He knows her story.
He knows her pain.
He knows her worth.
And He knows exactly where He is taking her.

The bus may have taken her from North Carolina to New York, but Jesus is the One leading her from brokenness toward restoration.

This is why we do what we do.

Because there are women who need someone to look them in the eyes and tell them:

“Your story is not over. Jesus has not forgotten you. You are still worth fighting for. And there is another way to live.”

So this week, we’re praying over her new beginning. 🙏

Not because we believe the Hoving Home can save her.

Jesus saves.
Jesus restores.
Jesus heals.
Jesus makes all things new.

And we are simply grateful He allows us to walk beside these women one lady at a time. 🏠💙

“He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.” — Psalm 147:3
