Since 1985, Robeson Health Care Corporation (RHCC) has been considered a leader in North Carolina’s primary and preventative health care and substance abuse services to the residents of our service area. Our service area encompasses the counties of Robeson, Scotland, Montgomery, Moore, Johnston, and Pitt. RHCC is a private nonprofit Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and is accredited by th
e Joint Commission. Our mission is to improve the health status of its community and reduce health disparities by serving as an access point for healthcare. RHCC provides access to a comprehensive list of services: primary and preventative medical services diagnostic lab; immunizations for children and elderly; health and parenting education; outreach services; emergency transportation; mental health and substance abuse counseling (via state funding); perinatal care; case management for children and perinatal; risk assessments; women’s wellness; referral, follow-up, and tracking; HIV testing and counseling; lead screening; TB tests; vision; hearing assessments; and other services as needed and based on the availability of funding. RHCC operates nine comprehensive access points of care: Julian T. Pierce Center in Pembroke; Lumberton Health Center in Lumberton; Maxton Medical Center in Maxton; Montgomery Health Center in Star; South Robeson Medical Center in Fairmont; Scotland Health Center in Laurinburg; and St. Robinson Health Center in Lumberton; Red Springs Health Center and Red Springs Walk In Clinic
