Starting therapy can feel really scary—and therapists know that, too.

In this video, Brandon Hovey shares a simple but powerful analogy: starting therapy is a lot like getting into a pool. You don’t have to dive in all at once. You ease in, one step at a time… and before you know it, you’re fully in.

Brandon has supported many people through some of the toughest moments in their lives.

Seeing others grow, heal, and succeed continues to remind him that helping people is exactly what he’s meant to do.

On Wednesday, we attended our monthly CEO Advisor Group meeting at Neighborhood House Association Peoria. Big thanks to Julie Bonar for hosting us, showing us around the facility, sharing about the incredible work happening at Neighborhood House.

It was an especially great meeting because our Office Manager, Moriaha Hoday, was able to join us. We were excited to have her experience the group alongside us.

We also heard from Bob Berk, out of Chicago and author of Leadership Between the Sheets, who shared some really helpful insights on the differences between leadership and management. Appreciate you taking the time, Bob. We’re looking forward to putting these ideas into practice at Summit.

Wired Differently, Loving Deeply | 3 Pairs of Glasses (S1, E3)

In this episode of Three Pairs of Glasses, Nate, Brandon, and Dr. Ryan dive into the realities of neurodivergent relationships—exploring the everyday challenges couples face when one or both partners have ADHD, autism, or other forms of neurodivergence. Together, we unpack what makes these connections so uniquely deep, how different neurotypes influence communication and daily rhythms, and what it actually takes for these relationships to work and thrive.

Through real-life stories, practical tools, and thoughtful insight from licensed therapists, this conversation offers both clarity and encouragement for anyone navigating love in the context of neurodiversity.

🎧 New Podcast Episode is Live!

If you’ve ever replayed a conversation in your head 47 times and landed on “they must secretly hate me now”… this one’s for you. 🙃

In our newest episode, we’re talking about Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD) and exploring it through three different lenses—or as we call them, three pairs of glasses. 👓

Because sometimes it’s not just what happened… it’s the lens we’re viewing it through that shapes everything.

This episode is for anyone who:
✨ Feels rejection deeply (even when it’s subtle or unintentional)
✨ Struggles with self-doubt or overthinking interactions
✨ Wants more compassion and clarity in their emotional world

You’re not “too sensitive.”

You’re human—and understanding your lens changes everything.
