Yin yoga is one of our favorites for a reason.
Poses are held longer—often 3 to 10 minutes—which gives your body time to soften and release more deeply. It can feel similar to the “slow and steady” approach of Myofascial Release.
And important: Yin is NOT about pushing.
It’s about using supports (bolsters, blocks, blankets) so your body can be comfortable enough to let go.
Tonight, try a “mini yin” at home:
Lie down, legs in butterfly with pillows under your knees (or bolster support)
Slow breathing for 2–5 minutes
Let everything get heavy
