Ten years ago this month, The Salt Room Lake Country was nothing more than construction plans, a dream, and a whole lot of faith.

The walls weren't built.
The salt rooms didn't exist.
The sauna rooms hadn't been installed.

What did exist was a vision to create a place where our community could find support, encouragement, education, and hope.

As I reflect on where we started nearly 10 years ago, I feel incredibly grateful.

Grateful for every client.
Grateful for every family.
Grateful for every person who trusted us along the way.

Thank you for being part of our story.

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸

Their sacrifice made it possible for all of us to enjoy the freedoms, moments, and memories we often take for granted - time with family, peaceful mornings, laughter with friends, and the ability to build lives and businesses rooted in purpose.

At The Salt Room Lake Country, we are especially grateful for those who served and sacrificed so others could live freely. Today is a day of remembrance, gratitude, and reflection.

We hope you take a moment today to slow down, breathe deeply, and hold space for the heroes and families who have given so much.

At The Salt Room Lake Country, one thing we’ve always believed is this… wellness is about supporting the body as a whole.

Helping people feel:

That’s exactly why our approach has always focused on holistic wellness tools that work WITH the body instead of constantly fighting against it — from salt therapy and infrared sauna therapy to lifestyle support and overall wellness habits.

Over the last several months, I’ve personally been focusing more intentionally on supporting my own body differently as well… and the changes in my energy, strength, confidence, body composition, recovery, and overall wellness have honestly been incredible 👏🔥

And honestly? I really HAVEN’T drastically changed my lifestyle.

No crash dieting.
No extreme workout routines.
No “quick fix” gimmicks.

Just consistency, increasing my protein intake, better habits, movement, and supporting my body more intentionally.

Tonight I am taking a moment to pause, there’s a lot weighing on my heart this week and if I’ve ever questioned my purpose or passion before… it was solidified again today.

Even though the schedule got a little behind midway through the day, normally that would have caused some internal panic, but today I found myself pausing, listening a little harder, and stepping back instead with gratitude for the space we’ve created here at The Salt Room Lake Country.

What we do here goes far beyond salt therapy, sauna sessions, or wellness services.

It’s about being able to support people exactly where they are at in life. It’s about creating a space where someone can exhale for a moment during difficult seasons, feel seen and supported, and know they don’t have to carry everything alone.

And it’s also about celebrating the wins from the healing, the breakthroughs, the exciting moments happening in someone’s lives, the growth, and the joy right alongside our clients too.

Today, was a reminder that this space has always been so much more than a “business” to me. It’s a community, a safe place, and truly part of my purpose. And for that, I’m incredibly thankful.

A little part of entrepreneurship clients don’t always see… 😂

Sometimes “behind the scenes” work means you unexpectedly become part of the appliance repair crew during business hours.

Today’s lesson:
Apparently owning a business also means learning about dryers, troubleshooting, and somehow ending up on the floor helping the repair guy take things apart. 😅

One thing entrepreneurship has taught me is that no two days ever look the same.

Some days you’re serving clients.
Some days you’re creating content.
Some days you’re handling scheduling, inventory, and marketing.
And some days…you’re elbow deep helping fix appliances so the business keeps running smoothly. 😂

There’s always something new to learn behind the scenes, and honestly that’s part of what makes entrepreneurship such a wild, exhausting, rewarding adventure.

Business ownership definitely keeps you humble… and apparently handy too. 💜
