My first full weekend back vending after nearly three weeks was amazing 🌿

Friday was at the last Gifts and Graces 🎁 that will be held in SWIHA’s current building as they prepare for a big move to a new building! So exciting to see them expand and move from the place I learned all about herbs✨

Saturday was with my wonderful community at the and it was my second weekend being back. As of now I will be doing two Saturdays a month for the summer so I will return on the 20th! ❗️

As always, I’m so grateful for your continued support of my business and I can’t wait to see you again in a few weeks 💚

Me and Creosote been getting real cool this week 🌼

Earlier this week, I had the honor of teaching a creosote workshop at Re:Frame Youth Arts Center, where we crafted creosote sage bundles and small-batch creosote salve while exploring the medicine and traditions of this remarkable desert plant. 🌵

Then today, I had the privilege of preparing sixty creosote salves at my internship with the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community using creosote harvested directly from the land. Sharing this medicine with community members, hearing their stories, and witnessing the memories this plant awakened was deeply moving. 🥹

One person told me how the scent reminded him of his grandmother, who used creosote tea for stomach aches, foot soaks, and poultices. Moments like that remind me that herbalism is so much more than making products. It’s about connection, remembrance, and carrying tradition forward.

Creosote has been such a special teacher this week, and I feel incredibly grateful to continue learning from the land, from community, and from the plants themselves 🌿✨

Happy to share that I’ve completed my Urban Agroforestry course! 👩🏾‍🎓

This experience expanded my understanding of plants beyond just their medicinal use and into how they grow, thrive, and support entire ecosystems. I’ve been learning hands-on how to care for trees, build healthy soil, and work with the land in a more sustainable and intentional way. 🪴

This feels like a powerful step toward my long-term vision of growing the herbs I use in my products and deepening the integrity of my work as an herbalist.

Grateful for the knowledge, the experience, and the community I gained along the way 🌿

More growth, more roots, more to come. ✨

When rain hits the leaves of the creosote bush, it releases the distinctive earthy aroma many people associate with desert rain. 🌧️

🌱 Quick life update: I’m back in school learning urban agroforestry! I am doing this while continuing to run Lune Herbals and stay rooted in community work but also to expand my business to creating even more growth….literally! 👩🏽‍🌾

Nearly everyday I’m out in a garden and I’m sooo happy for this new change of pace. A lot of my energy has been going into learning how to steward land, understand trees and m plants more deeply, and build skills that support my long-term vision of growing the herbs I work with not only for myself but other herbalists and my community alike. 🪴

This season has been more about learning, hands in the soil, and integrating new knowledge than showing up online every day. I’m so grateful to be expanding in ways that feel aligned and intentional, even if it means moving a little slower on social media. I’ll have more to share soon as this new chapter continues to unfold 💚
