I enjoy when I can just be an attendee and I loved attending the NAMI Keystone PA "Black Mental Health Summit" today. The keynote speaker, Dr. Kyaien O. Connor, PhD was ABSOLUTELY phenomenal !!!

She spoke about SANKOFA and the symbol of the SANKOFA Bird who flies forward while looking backward ... "It is not wrong to go back for that which you have forgotten.

For us: The wisdom of our ancestors is not behind us - it IS the path forward.
Our culture is and always has been health promoting, protective and healing!"

This is so powerful and essential in black mental health work and I will carry this with me in the work I do in community self-love 🫶🏾

Congratulations to every mom who has been successfully discharged from our mental health treatment program. You all are doing the Heart Work.

I love the work that I do at Healthy Start, Inc. Pittsburgh/Allegheny County as the Clinical Practice Program Manager. I get to, manage other mental health clinicians, treat moms with depression with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, support staff and their participants with their mental health, lead an aftercare support group, and speak on the importance of prioritizing mental health in healthcare.

If you know a pregnant person, tell them about Healthy Start Pittsburgh !!!

Camp Lucy, year 3 !!! And it just keeps getting better and better !!! 🫶🏾 I will never stop speaking about how amazing Camp Lucy is !!!

Thank you you the middle school campers, the staff, the camp counselors, the grounds workers, the speakers, and most importantly to and her team for their hard work and dedication to making this year another huge success.

Camp Lucy for life !!!! 💛💙🤍

Have you heard about and their one day mental health camp for middle schoolers? 🏕️ Make sure your school is signed up for the 2027 school year 🍎✏️

This is my third year as a speaker at Camp Lucy and I am excited to be working with this year on some grounding, yoga, and affirmation. I am also bringing back the "Just Say 'Thank You' Circle" 🫶🏾 and I am sooooooo ready to pour the self-love on top of mental health support for everyone present.

See you campers, guides and speakers in two days at 🤗

I had the privilege to attend "HEADLINERS: The Wellness Edit" at the Magee-Womens Research Institute hosted by

We got to network, we received a MWRI Overview from Mike Annichine CEO of Magee-Womens Research Institute & Foundation, we heard from founder .colaizzi and we got to tour the research facilities and learn about what innovations are being created to advance women's health not just in this city but in the entire country.

lead the charge in and that work is being done in my city. I am so proud of that.

Clearly I was blown away.
Look at my face lol 🩷😂
