✌️2 points about this post:

1. Why the heck would we inject her jawline?🤔

☝️We’re actually adding a little filler to the mandibular angle (the back of the jawline) as well as the area in front of her ear (pre auricular area). As we age, the angle of our mandible goes away which is one of the reasons we start to develop lower face laxity (those dreaded jowls 🫣). Adding a touch of filler here and in front of her ear, will keep her LOWER face refreshed, as well as sharpen her jawline and profile 🤩

2. Is all of that redness normal???😳

YES!! This is a REAL TIME before and after ⏰….. Redness/ swelling/ injection sites and seeing the filler (at this point) are all NORMAL immediately post treatment! If you’re seeing PERFECT before and afters it’s for one of two reasons:
1. The after was taken weeks/ months later….. which is totally fine in the world of aesthetics, although you should definitely note this in the caption.
OR
2. The provider is airbrushing and retouching there B/A’s….. this is a big no no in the aesthetic field. People need to see real life B/A’s…. lumps, bumps redness are part of the process 🫶

Both are injectables, but they do two very different jobs. 💉

Let’s break down this one of the questions we hear all the time:

☁️ Botox is a brand name of a “neuromodulator” or “neurotoxin.” Other familiar brands are Dysport, Letybo, Xeomin, Daxxify, and Jeuveau. It temporarily reduces muscle activity in targeted areas, which can soften the appearance of dynamic lines caused by repeated facial expressions. Think forehead lines, the “11s” between the brows, and crow’s feet. Rather than adding volume, tox works with the muscles responsible for creating those expression lines.

☁️ Dermal fillers are injectable gels, commonly made with hyaluronic acid, that are used to add or restore volume, enhance certain features, and create more balanced facial proportions.Depending on the product and your anatomy, filler may be used in areas such as the lips, cheeks, chin, or jawline.
