Fall sports are approaching quickly and we want to help ensure your student athlete is ready. Be sure to get well-child checkups scheduled soon so you can meet sports physical requirements.

From the first practice to the final whistle, every student athlete deserves a safe and successful season and sometimes that means more than just checking boxes. Our Family Medicine Network providers are proud to support Sanders County families with the comprehensive care they need before heading into the school year and rigorous athletic practices.

What's New? We are now requesting families to schedule their student athlete's sports physical as part of their annual Well-Child Checkup (WCC). This approach gives families and providers a better opportunity to support each student’s overall health, safety, and readiness to participate in sports.

Don’t wait. Get your student athlete scheduled for their WCC today! Now scheduling for July and August at each of our Family Medicine Network offices in Thompson Falls, Plains and Hot Springs.

A well-child checkup is a routine preventive pediatric exam used to track physical growth, monitor developmental milestones, screen for health conditions, and provide necessary immunizations.

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommends these exams frequently during early childhood, transitioning to annual checkups starting at age three.

These visits can be scheduled with a primary care provider at any of our Family Medicine Network offices in Thompson Falls, Plains and Hot Springs.

Our CFVH Foundation was incredibly grateful to receive a Member Impact Fund grant from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines through partnership with First Security Bank (FSB) of Thompson Falls - Division of Glacier Bank.

This investment of over $17,000 is another reminder of what makes our community so special. Time and again, FSB has shown up to support our mission, and we couldn't do this work without them. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

The funds have been earmarked to help purchase a new transport bus for our Long Term Care residents. If you would also like to invest in this special Support a Cause Fundraiser, visit: www.cfvh.org/ltcbus
This year, $5.6 million in grant funding was awarded to more than 200 not-for-profit and government organizations across Montana through the Member Impact Fund!
