In August, more than 75 nephrology fellows from across the country gathered in Plano, Texas, for the 2026 Nephrology Business Leadership Conference (NBLU).

Co-hosted by U.S. Renal Care, Dallas Renal Group, and the University of California San Diego School of Medicine, NBLU complements clinical training with practical education, mentorship, and perspectives designed to help fellows navigate the transition from training into practice.

Since its first cohort in 2016, NBLU has welcomed fellows representing more than 100 nephrology programs nationwide—connecting the next generation of nephrologists with leaders and organizations across the kidney community.
