Recently, our Women’s Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) patients took a special field trip for hands-on coping skill lessons.

For many of the women in our program, stepping out into public is a massive milestone. It means breaking free from the isolation of panic attacks and severe depression and choosing to show up for themselves in a brand-new way.

During our outing, each patient explored the shop and selected a textile craft to take home. With the help of wonderful instructors, they dove into learning new skills like:

• Knitting & Crochet
• Embroidery & Cross-Stitch
• Tapestry & Lace Making

This field trip is consistently a patient favorite. It encourages them to try something completely new, practice mindfulness, and invest in their own self-care. We're so incredibly proud of their courage to step out, lean into community, and build a toolkit for lasting recovery. 🤍
