2026 Donna El Distinguished Service Award | Jennifer Lesko, PT, DPT
APTA Washington is proud to recognize Jennifer Lesko, PT, DPT, as the recipient of the 2026 Donna El Distinguished Service Award!
For many years, Jennifer has been a dedicated advocate and leader for the physical therapy profession, serving APTA Washington in a variety of roles, including Board Member, Federal Affairs Liaison, and Chief Delegate. She currently continues her service as a Delegate and member of the Finance & Audit Committee.
Jennifer has also served as PPS Treasurer and on the APTA Public Policy and Advocacy Committee. She continues her advocacy work as a key contact for Congresswoman Jayapal, demonstrating her ongoing commitment to advancing the profession and ensuring that the voice of physical therapists is represented in public policy.
Jennifer’s thoughtful lens, perspective, and passion for the profession have been invaluable to APTA Washington. Her work in governance and advocacy has helped create lasting change, strengthening our profession and our organization.
Perhaps one of Jennifer’s greatest contributions is the legacy she is building through mentorship. The leaders she has supported, encouraged, and mentored along the way will carry her influence forward for years to come.
