Botox and fillers are not the same thing. Here's the actual difference.
This comes up in nearly every new patient consultation.
Botox (and neuromodulators like Xeomin and Dysport): relaxes the muscles that cause dynamic wrinkles , lines from expressions like squinting, frowning, or raising your eyebrows. Results last roughly 3–4 months.
Dermal fillers: add volume to areas that have lost fullness over time , under the eyes, the cheeks, the lips, the jawline. Results last anywhere from 6 months to 2+ years depending on the product.
Many patients benefit from both , they address different things.
