❤️ Paying It Forward ❤️
One of the most rewarding parts of what we do at Healing Paws is witnessing the incredible compassion within our community.
Yesterday, Sigmon, a handsome German Shepherd living with degenerative myelopathy (DM), was fitted with a set of wheels that will help him continue enjoying life and staying mobile.
What makes this moment even more special is that these wheels were generously donated by the family of Bailey, one of our longtime patients who also bravely lived with DM. After Bailey crossed the rainbow bridge, her mom and dad wanted to honor her memory by giving another family the opportunity to create more happy memories together.
Their kindness is a beautiful reminder that even during times of loss, love can continue to make a difference.
