At Dyad Psychology, we believe that the best therapeutic relationships are built on genuine human connection. We thought you'd enjoy getting to know Jenn a little better!

💛 What brings Jenn joy?
Her family, her faith, exercise, running, spending time outdoors on warm sunny days, and quality time with her cat and llama all help keep her grounded and energized.

😄 What is Jenn's vibe in session?
Jenn's energy can vary depending on what her clients need most in the moment. Whether that means offering a calm, steady presence or bringing a little lightness to a difficult conversation, she strives to meet clients where they are. She also enjoys incorporating humor when appropriate—because life can be serious, and sometimes laughter can be healing too.

📺 Currently enjoying:
• Medical dramas (she's a fan of a good TV binge!)
• Matcha lattes
• Anything chocolate 🍫

🌿 How does Jenn reset and recharge?
Going to the gym, running, practicing yoga, and attending church are some of the ways she reconnects with herself and finds balance.

🌱TINY SHIFTS | Question of the Day

We often think of safety as something that happens around us.

But safety is also something we experience within us.

Sometimes it's the warmth of a favorite blanket.
A walk in nature.
A deep breath.
A familiar voice.
A pet curled up beside you.
A friend who truly listens.

The truth is, our nervous systems are constantly taking in information and asking:

"Am I safe right now?"

When the answer is yes, even for a moment, our bodies often respond in small but powerful ways—our shoulders soften, our breathing slows, and we feel a little more present.

💛 The more we notice these moments, the more opportunities we have to support our own well-being.

💭 What if healing doesn't start with a workout plan?

What if it starts with a walk around the block because getting out of bed felt hard today?

What if it's stretching your shoulders after carrying the weight of everyone else's needs?

What if it's dancing in your kitchen to a favorite song because, for a few minutes, you remembered what joy feels like?

What if it's tending a garden and realizing that growth doesn't happen overnight—for plants or for people?

🌱 WHERE HEALING LIVES: Movement

We've been taught to think of movement as something we do to change our bodies.

But what if movement is really about reconnecting with ourselves?

🚶 A walk can help clear a busy mind.

🧘 A stretch can help release tension you've been holding for weeks.

💃 A dance can help you reconnect with joy, freedom, and self-expression.

🌻 Gardening can remind you that healing is often slow, messy, and worth nurturing.

You don't have to earn rest by exercising harder.
You don't have to push through exhaustion to prove your worth.

Sometimes movement is simply a way of saying:

💛 "I'm here. I'm listening. I'm taking care of myself today."

Healing isn't always found in doing more.

Sometimes it lives in moving with kindness instead of pressure.

Belonging is more than fitting in.

It's the experience of being accepted without having to hide parts of yourself.

Research shows that feeling connected, affirmed, and supported is associated with better mental health outcomes, increased resilience, and a stronger sense of well-being.

For many LGBTQIA+ individuals, Pride is a celebration of identity, community, and the courage to live authentically.

At Dyad, we believe healing happens in relationship.

We believe every person deserves spaces where they are seen, valued, and welcomed exactly as they are.
