💚 Client’s Corner – August Feature: Elysa S. 💚
From the Client:
“I have been seeing Lex for years through so many stages of my life. She was there for my prenatal and postpartum massages, and she never failed to help me feel relaxed, supported, and pain-free. Having someone I trust through those seasons made such a difference.
Lex’s massages feel intentional. She never assumes each visit should be the same. Instead, she always asks where I’d like to focus that day and tailors each session to exactly what my body needs in that moment. I always leave feeling refreshed and so much better than when I walked in.
As a toddler mom and business owner, it can be hard to prioritize taking care of myself. Lex has not only helped me make self-care a priority, but she also encouraged me to take the leap and open my own business. Having someone who genuinely supports both your personal and professional growth means so much.
I truly look forward to my Wednesday evening appointments—they’re one of my favorite parts of the week. The only thing I wish is that I could see her every month instead of every other!”
From Lex:
Elysa’s journey has been such a fun one to be part of. I started working with her well before she became a mom, and I’ve had the privilege of working with her through so many different stages of life since then.
One of the things I love most about massage therapy is that the body’s needs are never exactly the same. Pregnancy, postpartum recovery, stress, motherhood, and the physical demands of working behind the chair can all affect the body differently. As a hairstylist, Elysa spends a lot of time on her feet and using her neck, shoulders, arms, and upper back, so those areas tend to get plenty of attention during our sessions.
That’s why I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all massage. I take into account what’s going on with your body that day and adjust pressure, techniques, and areas of focus accordingly. Every session should meet you where you are—not where you were at your last appointment.
Knowing I’ve been able to encourage Elysa not only to prioritize her own self-care, but also to take the leap and become a business owner herself, means more than she probably realizes. Supporting my clients extends beyond the massage table whenever I can, and I’m genuinely proud of her for taking that leap and building something of her own. 💚
I’m grateful to have been part of so many chapters of her journey and excited to keep watching her grow, both personally and professionally.
