Gordon Thomas Lueckfeld of Racine, Wisconsin, age 91, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2026, with his loving family by his side.

Born on February 6, 1935, in Racine, Gordon was the son of Arnold Jacob and Karen K. (née Thompsen) Lueckfeld. He attended William Horlick High School and graduated with the Class of 1953. Following graduation, Gordon proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from July 1955 until September 1960, an experience that remained a source of pride throughout his life.

On May 24, 1969, Gordon was united in marriage to the love of his life, Judith Ann Knaak, in Racine. Together they built a life centered on family, adventure, and countless cherished memories. Their marriage was marked by companionship, laughter, and a shared love of travel. Whether planning vacations to Mexico, Ireland, and Las Vegas or embarking on spontaneous road trips to destinations unknown, Gordon and Judy embraced every opportunity to explore. Among their most memorable journeys was a driving trip to Alaska. Closer to home, Gordon especially treasured Sunday drives with his family, creating simple moments that became lasting memories.

A lifelong sports enthusiast, Gordon enjoyed playing basketball, bowling, and softball. He was also an avid golfer for much of his life and could often be found on the golf course enjoying a round with friends and family. Kenosha – Elias “Eli” Hernandez, 63, passed away at Aurora Medical Center – Mount Pleasant on Tuesday, October 6, 2026.

Eli was born to the late Natividad Hernandez and Antonia Ramirez on July 8, 1963, in Moorhead, Minnesota. He dedicated 22 years of his career to Abbott Laboratories, where he worked as a QA Technician.

Eli’s faith and relationship with God were very important to him. He was also a devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Eli enjoyed singing, spending time outdoors, and making memories with his family. He had a special love for his beloved companion, his dog, Teddy, who brought him much happiness and companionship.

Eli will be deeply missed by his brothers, Jose Luis Hernandez (Linda), Eliseo Hernandez (Deborah), and Aaron Hernandez; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Enedelia “Annie” Quinones, Isaac Hernandez, Natividad Hernandez Jr., Linda Gonzalez, Sanjuanita Martinez, Deborah Acosta, and Rachel Herrera.

Eli will be remembered for his faith, his love of family, and the many moments of joy he shared with those who were fortunate enough to know him. His memory will remain in the hearts of his loved ones forever.

A celebration of Eli's life will be held at Crossroads Apostolic Church in Sturtevant on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM with dinner to follow.

Robert C. “Bob” Luedtke, 73, of Union Grove, Wisconsin, passed away on October 8, 2026.

Born on July 9, 1953, Bob was the son of Herman Carl and Johanna Henrietta (nee Kokke) Luedtke. He was born into a large family and spent his early life in Union Grove, a community that would remain home throughout his life. Bob graduated from Union Grove High School in 1971.

Bob was a hardworking and dedicated man. During his career, he worked for Bob Strunk Tires and later for the Racine County Sheriff’s Office, where he served until his retirement in 2007. He shared a loving and fulfilling life with his wife, and together they enjoyed many special moments and adventures. Whether hunting, traveling to new places, or simply spending quality time together, they treasured the experiences they shared and the memories they created along the way.

Bob had a lifelong love of the outdoors and a true passion for pheasant hunting. Many of his days in the field were spent hunting at B**g Recreation Area, a place that held countless memories for him. Two of his best hunting companions were his beloved dogs, Bear and Buster, who were right alongside him in the field. They weren’t simply his hunting dogs; they were his companions and an important part of something he truly loved. Bob also had a special bond with his dog and constant companion, Babe, who went everywhere with him and was never far from his side.

Carol Jean Schoen, age 82, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2026.

Carol was born on October 1, 1944, in South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Carl and Germaine (née Laskowski) Witt. On December 23, 1971, she was united in marriage to Ralph R. Schoen in Milwaukee. They shared their lives together until Ralph’s passing on June 13, 1991.

Throughout her working years, Carol was employed by Allen-Bradley, Allis-Chalmers, SC Johnson Council House, and Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare - All Saints. After 35 years of dedicated employment, she retired as a Certified Nursing Assistant from Wheaton Franciscan on October 10, 2010. Her caring nature extended well beyond her profession. Carol was sweet and kindhearted, and to many who knew her, she was like a mother.

Carol was Catholic in faith and deeply devoted to her Savior, Jesus Christ. She found comfort and strength in reading the Bible and watching Sunday church services. She also knew how to enjoy the simple pleasures of life. She was an avid Chicago Bears fan, a passionate Elvis Presley admirer, loved tending to her flower gardens, and took great pride in her extensive doll collection.

Carol will be lovingly remembered by her son, Chris (Rachel) Schoen; her sisters, Joan Hancock, Joyce Witt, and Carla Tietyen; and numerous nieces and nephews.

RACINE – Saturnina Espinoza, 82, passed away peacefully with her loving daughter by her side on Tuesday, September 29, 2026.

Saturnina was born to Angel and Clara (nee: Cruz) Tellez on December 13, 1943, in Pachuca de Soto, Hidalgo, Mexico. She was united in marriage to Francisco Espinoza on April 7, 1979, in Racine. They shared nearly 44 years of marriage until Francisco’s passing on January 30, 2023.

Saturnina was a dedicated and faithful member of Fountain of Life Church, where her life was deeply rooted in her faith and church community. She found immense joy in the simple and quiet pleasures of life. An avid crafter, Saturnina spent countless hours crocheting and creating beautiful things with her hands. One of her favorite places to be was sitting peacefully on the porch with her beloved husband, enjoying the quiet moments they shared together.

Saturnina will be deeply missed by her loving daughter, Tabitha Espinoza.

She was preceded in death by her father, Angel Tellez; mother, Clara Tellez; husband, Francisco Espinoza; brother, Robert Tellez; and six other siblings.

Tabitha would like to extend her heartfelt gratitude to Compassus Hospice for the compassionate care, kindness, and support they provided to Saturnina during her final days.

Susan Anne Eagney (née Spang), age 68, passed away peacefully at her home on September 14, 2026.

Susan was born on November 26, 1957, in Racine, Wisconsin, to Robert Van and Frances Ruth (née Mikulecky) Spang. She was a proud graduate of William Horlick High School, Class of 1975, where she excelled as both a student and an athlete.

Susan cherished many seasons of her life, but among her favorite memories were the years she spent living in Florida near the ocean. The beauty, warmth, and tranquility of coastal life always held a special place in her heart, and she often longed to return to those carefree days by the sea.

A devoted Wisconsin sports fan, Susan's greatest loyalty belonged to the Green Bay Packers. Whether cheering on her favorite team or enjoying the excitement of horse racing in recent years, she found joy in following the sports she loved. She also treasured the simple pleasures of life, especially sharing home-cooked meals and spending quality time with her beloved boyfriend, Greg.

Susan will be lovingly remembered by her children, Jessica Eagney and Kaylyn (Emilio) Eagney-Toscano; her siblings, Darryl (Lori) Spang and Michelle (Rodney) Tweedt; her nieces and nephews, Alec (Melissa) Spang, Ashlee Spang, Zachary (Kiersten) Tweedt, and Adam (Morgan) Tweedt; boyfriend, Greg Jurgens; as well as many other relatives and friends whose lives she touched.

Todd Woten, 56, of Racine, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha.

Todd was born on September 15, 1969, in Racine, to Richard and Shirley Woten (nee Kjell). He spent his entire working life in the autobody industry, a career that was more than just a job—it was a passion. Todd had a natural talent for working with cars and especially enjoyed restoring and working on old cars.

Outside of work, Todd enjoyed fishing and hunting and spending time doing the things he loved. He was known for his quick wit, sense of humor, and ability to joke around and make those around him laugh.

Todd will be dearly missed by his mother, Shirley Woten; his siblings, Kim Woten, Terry Woten, Lori Woten, and Tina (Don) Becker; his nephews, Jeremy Hysell, Donald (Jessie) Becker Jr. and their children, and Austin Becker.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Woten, and his brother, Richard Woten Jr.

Todd will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Racine - Elaine Marie Kaisler, 91, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, September 7, 2026.

Born in Lacon, IL on December 22, 1934, Elaine was the beloved daughter of the late Venus and Francis Tool.

On June 3, 1956, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Robert Kaisler. They had two beautiful daughters and shared 70 amazing years together filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories, including long motorcycle rides and overnight casino trips.

Elaine dedicated her life to helping others discover their beauty by being a cosmetician at Turn/Style, Roeschens, and Kies pharmacies where she received numerous certifications and awards. Both before and after retirement, Elaine enjoyed spending time in her garden, her kitchen, her sewing room, and at her kiln.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend, and so much more. She was also an incredibly talented doll maker, painter, gardener, cake decorator, cook, and QVC lover.

Elaine reveled in being her grandchildren’s favorite place where she taught them everything from how to play solitaire, use chopsticks, and make peanut butter fudge and raspberry meringue cookies. Butter was her favorite ingredient, of which there was never enough.

She took great pride in her home, particularly her garden where she planted colorful flowers and grew rhubarb, tomatoes, grapes, strawberries, and more.

Racine - Antoinette Davis, 59, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 6, 2026.

Antoinette was born on October 2, 1966, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Alfonso Fikes and Ellanora Matthews. She dedicated several years of her life to working as a Certified Nursing Assistant, where she cared for others with compassion and kindness.

Antoinette was a proud and faithful member of Deliverance Crusaders Church in Racine, where her faith was an important part of her life. She enjoyed playing the flute, cooking delicious meals, and traveling and making memories along the way. Above all, Antoinette cherished her family. She loved spending time with those closest to her and had a special way of making everyone around her feel loved and welcomed. Antoinette had a special gift for being able to “make something out of nothing,” turning even the simplest things into something meaningful and memorable.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Harry Raymond Ticknor Jr., age 47, of Racine on August 27, 2026.

Harry was born in Racine on June 17, 1979, to Harry Raymond Ticknor Sr. and Melissa “Missy” (née Kost) Thery. He was a proud graduate of Washington Park High School, Class of 1997. Harry followed in his father's footsteps and worked for his stepfather's business, All-Set Lawn Care. He took great pride in landscaping and genuinely enjoyed the hard work and satisfaction that came from helping create beautiful outdoor space.

Harry treasured time spent with his family. Some of his most cherished memories were day trips with his dad in Shellsburg, Iowa, where they enjoyed hiking and exploring caves together. He also loved spending time fishing with his father. In his teens, his mother and Harry would ride around in the jeep loudly singing songs of Journey.

An avid gamer, Harry particularly enjoyed first-person video games and was rarely far from his computer. Whether he was seeking entertainment, expanding his knowledge, or connecting with others, technology was one of his passions. Music was another constant presence in his life. Harry loved listening to a wide variety of music genres, often singing while he worked and occasionally sharing his enthusiasm through karaoke.
