Monarch Healthcare was proud to be represented at the North Carolina Occupational Therapy Association annual conference at East Carolina University last week!

Monarch Healthcare Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) Brianna Shaw and Madeline Beaty presented on the role of Occupational Therapy (OT) in supporting crisis stabilization and recovery within youth facility-based crisis and psychiatric residential treatment settings, like our SECU Youth Crisis Center (YCC) in Charlotte and the upcoming Stephen M. Morris Behavioral Health Center (SMMBHC) in Concord.

We are proud to be a leader in advancing occupational therapy within behavioral health, expanding services, programs and employment opportunities to better meet the needs of youth across North Carolina. 💚
