After very little sleep, lots of tears the sun still came up. I was able to get different angles and a look inside the barn. When storms would hit, we always thought the bottom of the barn would be safe. We don't think that anymore. The heifer that survived is up and standing. There is a picture of the hole they cut to get her out. You will notice going through the pictures that things are untouched and then there is the barn. The cow pasture has uprooted trees. Please pray for our family as we have some very difficult decisions ahead.

People are ok. Mark was planting the last of the corn. Preston was at work, Karlie just ran through the dooryard and the rest of us were standing in the kitchen. The cows were in the pasture...except 2 heifers. The one heifer did walk out. Afraid to ask about the other. Yes, this is the barn we just got done 16 months ago. The block walls are gone, down to the ground. So many people here. Trailers to take cows to get milked. It's a mess. Will update with more..

๐Ÿ“ STRAWBERRY SEASON IS HERE! ๐Ÿ“

After months of waiting, we're excited to announce a soft opening for our 2026 U-Pick Strawberry Season

๐Ÿ“… Tuesday, June 9
โฐ 7:00 AM โ€“ 12:00 PM (Noon)
๐Ÿšœ U-Pick Only
โฐ Last admission to the field: 11:30 AM

We'll survey the crop after Tuesday's picking and then post our schedule for the remainder of the week.

๐Ÿ“ U-Pick Pricing
โ€ข Quart โ€” $6
โ€ข 5 lb. Box โ€” $20
โ€ข Level 10 lb. Flat โ€” $35
โ€ข Heaping 10 lb. Flat โ€” $40

๐Ÿ’ณ We accept cash, local checks, and debit cards. Credit card purchases are welcome, but customers are responsible for the processing fee.

๐Ÿก A quick note for visitors: You'll notice high-voltage signs on neighboring properties due to the large solar energy project in the area. We've been assured there is no danger, and construction will not take place near our farm during strawberry season.

๐Ÿšป Until Thursday, there will be one portable restroom available near our check-in station, Madge the Vintage Camper. Additional restroom facilities will be available later in the week.

๐Ÿงบ The Berry Barn is not open yet. We'll begin offering pre-picked berries once there is enough volume to bring in our picking crew. Pre-picked season is typically about a week shorter than U-Pick season.

๐ŸŒฆ๏ธ As every berry grower knows, strawberries change as fast as the weather! A field that looks full in the morning can be picked out by noon, and occasionally weather, field conditions, or irrigation needs may require us to close unexpectedly.

๐Ÿ“ž Before making the drive, please check our phone line, website, or social media pages for the latest updates. We are unable to respond to individual messages during the season.

We can't wait to welcome you back to the patch. See you in the strawberry field! โค๏ธ๐Ÿ“
