Sunbright is a non profit that was formed 5/2026 to operate a 16 bed coed adult addiction treatment center. It is our goal to complete DHCS state licensing process and open our doors within the next couple months.

Exciting news!!

There is a new non profit in town: Sunbright Recovery Center.

Website and Facebook to come.

After careful consideration, PHW has made a huge decision to move the rehab project from being Our rehab, to PHW being a founding partner and primary supporter for Sunbright Recovery Center, a newly formed non profit.

We have been sharing our dreams and progress on bringing an inpatient substance use treatment program (Rehab) to Tehama county. And wanted to share with our supporters this transition.

All construction is complete and as we move closer to opening the doors, it seems best to do this under a non profit. This is a big undertaking and Sunbright Recovery Center will need support to make it happen.

We have felt and appreciated everyone lifting us up over the years, and we thank you. Sunbright Recovery is excited to take up the race and looking forward to the endeavor.
