Sierra Therapy Group turns 20…I have been reminiscing about the past 20 years. I am so very thankful for each family that has trusted STG over these years. Being a speech-language pathologist is truly one of the most rewarding professions. I am also grateful for each SLP and OT and front office staff that has also been part of this journey. May is National Speech-Language-Hearing Month... Here is a great website for families and community members to look up information about speech-language skills, milestones, and disorder types as well. There is a section regarding insurance and coverage to help families as well.

The Communication Health Support Association believes that communication is a human right. Powered by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), we work to make healthy communication accessible and achievable for all.

Thank you to all the families that donated books during the month of April for the Spread the Word Nevada - Northern community book drive at STG. These books will go to kids in our community. Having books at home is a huge part of literacy and literacy development!
