Today we had the pleasure of welcoming residents from Woodstone Senior Living of Rice Lake to the ranch. They spent time meeting our therapy animals, sharing stories, and enjoying some homemade apple crisp. 🍎❤️

As we reflect on this year's Horses for Mental Health Campaign, one feeling rises above all others: gratitude.

To everyone who donated, shared our posts, talked about our mission, invited others to get involved, or simply followed along and cheered us on, thank you. 🌿✨

Your support makes sure our therapy horses receive the care they need to continue changing lives. Children will build confidence and communication skills. Veterans will find connection and healing. Families will have a place to turn when they need hope and support most.

🍭Horse of the Week: Meet Sugar 🍭

🚨🐴 We're down to the final days of the Horses for Mental Health Campaign! Every donation made before May 31st helps ensure our therapy horses receive the care they need to continue serving children, veterans, seniors, and families who rely on them every day. Help us finish strong! 💚✨

"My name is Natures Sugar Legacy, but everyone here calls me Sugar. I was born on July 22, 2019, and came to Nature’s Edge when I was just 2 years old with my sister Sweetie, who was still a filly at the time.

Becky Payne believed in both of us from the start because of our height, strong breeding, and wonderful temperaments. I am a registered American Paint Horse through DNA, and I have already competed with our prior equine specialist, Alexis, in Paint and Open showing events where I did very well.

Now I am excited to continue growing, learning, and helping patients at Nature’s Edge. I may still be young, but I’m eager to work and proud to be part of something meaningful. Around the pasture, I do believe I’m the boss mare, I’m exceptionally smart, savvy, and like to keep everyone in line.

Please support me and all of my barn friends so we can continue helping others through this mission. The future is bright, and I’m ready for it. 💙🐴"
