"Embrace the Current of Recovery"

10/15/2026

We are excited to announce we are offering another sober living option to help men in early recovery! After much prayer and consideration we have changed the services at our second house to be more affordable while still upholding the same culture, accountably, and goal of supporting men as they recover. We want to extend our services to be able to reach more men and and their families. Please reach out to Corey to learn more!

Today Corey went out to visit The Arbor Behavioral Healthcare down in Georgetown, TX. They have one of the best programs in Texas when it comes to treating males and females with SUD. They have a robust program that aligns with Mecca when it comes to 12 step support and family programing offered. We highly value our relationship with The Arbor and recommend anyone getting connected with them who hasn’t already. Thank you Zack Plyler for having Corey out today!

Happy Mardi Gras from Mecca Recovery Solutions! 💜💛💚

“Mardi Gras” means Fat Tuesday — a day traditionally celebrated with joy, fellowship, and reflection before the Lenten season begins. At its heart, Mardi Gras is about community, celebration, and preparing for a season of growth and renewal.

In recovery, we understand that same rhythm.

Just like Mardi Gras marks a turning point, sobriety is a decision to move from chaos to clarity, from excess to intention, from survival to purpose. It’s about recognizing where we’ve been and choosing a new way forward.

The beads and colors of Mardi Gras each carry meaning:
• Purple for justice — being honest with ourselves and making things right.
• Green for faith — trusting the process and believing change is possible.
• Gold for power — the strength we gain when we surrender and live with integrity.

If you or someone you love is ready for a new season, we’re here.

Laissez les bons temps rouler — and let the good life of recovery roll. 🎭

🎄 Christmas in Recovery 🎄

Christmas can be a beautiful and healing time in recovery. It offers moments of connection, gratitude, and the chance to experience the holidays with a clear mind and an open heart. For many, it’s the first time truly being present—able to feel joy, peace, and genuine love without substances standing in the way.

At the same time, we know Christmas can also be tough. It can bring up memories, loss, family challenges, loneliness, or the pressure of expectations. These feelings are real, and they don’t mean you’re doing recovery wrong—they mean you’re human.

At Mecca Recovery Solutions, we believe the holidays are about progress, not perfection. Whether today feels joyful, heavy, or somewhere in between, you don’t have to face it alone. Recovery teaches us how to sit with our emotions, lean on support, and choose healthier paths—even on the hard days.

If this season feels challenging, keep going. If it feels peaceful, cherish it. Either way, showing up sober is a gift to yourself and to those around you.

From our Mecca family to yours, we wish you a Merry Christmas filled with hope, strength, and continued healing. 💚🧡🎅
