There’s something about setting up a room before people arrive. The quiet. The intention. The reminder of *why* I do this in the first place.
Last week at the veterans retreat, I had the opportunity to lead chair yoga overlooking Lake Tahoe, and as I arranged each chair, my "why" hit me again:
“To help people get out of their minds and back into their bodies.”
That mission matters deeply to me, especially in spaces where accessibility, nervous system support, and feeling safe in your own body truly matter. So much so that I came home and immediately started my Accessible Yoga certification program.
(Yes, yes… major life decisions within two weeks of a retreat. Apparently this is who I am now. 😂)
This week’s classes remain free/donation-based because yoga should be accessible to every body - every age, every ability, every season of life.
No pressure. No perfection. Just a place to land.

I’ll also be gone again next week, but Lacey will be filling my seat while I’m away and taking great care of everyone. 🤍
