Kadlec is home to the only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in the region. Our NICU is equipped to treat high-risk babies needing specialized attention, including premature infants, as well as full-term babies who need additional care. We’re proud to provide this critical support to our tiniest new community members and their families. ❤️

Congratulations to six local high school students who graduated in July from the Providence Phlebotomy Training Program.

The phlebotomy program was offered in partnership between the Tri-Tech Skills Center, Kadlec and Providence. The Providence Phlebotomy Training Program is designed to equip students with the skills necessary to collect blood and non-blood specimens, perform laboratory procedures, and interact directly with patients in healthcare settings. The program combines comprehensive classroom instruction with hands-on clinical experience.

The students were from Tri-Tech's pre-physical therapy, pre-medical assisting and the EMS/EMT classes. Following graduation, students began clinical rotations. Upon successfully completing rotations, graduates are eligible to apply for a Washington licenses, and once licensed can apply for open positions.
