Just a little frisbee golf fun movement!

Physical activity of any kind is such a beneficial and powerful tool when it comes to dementia. It can help them maintain their functional independence, improve sleep quality, and help with things such as wandering and agitation. We also find in our community that it can just be a great time to laugh and have fun with others!

Hot air balloon crafts for something fun!

Crafting for individuals with dementia can help reduce anxiety and encourage self-expression. For many projects the focus is on the emotional connection and sensory stimulation rather than the completed project. While we may help complete the project so they have something to take with them, it's never the main focus. Crafting serves as a non-verbal outlet for showing moods and thoughts and can at times also provide a sense of accomplishment!
