Today is National Donut Day and we hosted a fun social this morning to celebrate. This weekend many high schools and colleges are holding graduations. We would like to recognize the graduates. We have several staff & family members graduating. Our Petals Neighborhoods highlighted this milestone with a graduation theme. Thank you to our health & wellbeing for assisting with this.

A fantastic Thursday was experienced on campus, highlighted by diverse thriving moments from creative arts in the Petals neighborhoods to homemade ice cream making. This morning, Tracy gave a talk on shells. The Senior Living social hour drew a large attendance today. In the community room, Marni led a class using the Uniguest App this morning.

This Monday turned out to be an excellent day on campus. Our Petals neighborhoods went on multiple outings. They kicked off the morning with a reading session at Bamber Valley elementary with first-grade students. The afternoon saw them taking a couple of trips to Dairy Queen. In the Community Room, Petals Coach Marni Harris provided education on Alzheimer's and Dementia to a well-attended audience.

Today was warm outside but we kept cool through some fun activities. Our Petals Neighborhoods enjoyed an afternoon of golf. Our Business Office Manager Tim joined in the golf fun through demonstrating and sharing knowledge. We also took am outing to Flapdoodles for ice cream!

The day was filled with numerous activities. We started the morning with Dudes and Donuts. Our schedule included a 'fill your vase' session, drumming, and an informative session on enhancing balance led by Hannah from Above & Beyond Senior Services. The evening concluded with the Mennonites' musical performance on the last Tuesday of the month, which is always a delight. Our Petals Neighborhoods engaged in gardening and painting.

The last couple of days we enjoyed some thriving moments on Campus. Yesterday we hosted our Monthly Birthday Lunch. Later in the afternoon was a rousing Bingo Bash. Every morning like today you can find the guys gathering for their daily "Liars Club" 😂Today our Petals Neighborhoods enjoyed a Memorial Day program early.

Today the Waters on Mayowood hosted their annual open house. We had over 165 attendees. This was a great opportunity to showcase 17 of our senior living apartments and our various amenities and common space. Our fabulous Culinary team provided delicious refreshments. Several of our residence volunteered during the open house. Our wonderful sales team along with many staff members also assisted in this open house. We felt honor and gratitude to open up our Community and home to potential prospects.

Celebrate the heart of summer with us at the History Center for BBQ on the Farmstead! Join us on June 20th, from 4pm - 7pm for an evening packed with vintage charm and community spirit, including tours of the caves, barn, and smokehouse and ice cream for purchase from Flapdoodles! You can satisfy your appetite with delicious pulled pork and chicken sandwiches available for purchase while enjoying the live music of the Farmers Market Ramblers. The Roosters vintage base ball team will be on site and there will be plenty of activities for the kids!
