The gospel message that Isha Das has chosen today is all about vibrations. Thanks to science and the teachings of our Kriya Yoga masters, we can clearly understand these iconic words of Jesus: “The Kingdom of God is at hand. Repent and believe the good news.” These words have been misused as a tool to coerce faith through fear, but in reality, the “news” couldn’t be more encouraging. Today, we will reflect on the reality of vibration, the true meaning of the word “repent,”  and learn ways to attune ourselves to the life-giving vibrations of God. The message of the Masters is always good news. Thanks be to God!

Surrender to the will of God does not bind us, but rings us into true freedom. For the weight we carry no longer ours to bear; it is gathered into the hands of God.
This is the grace Christ spoke of when He said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and heavy laden, and you shall find rest."

Today, on Memorial Day, we proudly honor the brave men and women of our armed forces who have served and defended our nation with courage and devotion. We especially pay tribute to those service members who made the ultimate sacrifice, laying down their lives for the cause of freedom. We remember them with deep gratitude and reverence. God bless them, and God bless America.

For all religious traditions a “spiritual” life is a “spirit-filled” life. Today’s Gospel brings us to a place in Jerusalem where the disciples and followers of Jesus experienced Pentecost, the descent of the Holy Spirit that Jesus had promised them. That same Holy Spirit is the force of God’s love that enlivens our bodies, opens our hearts, and strengthens our wills. Even though we currently live in the most materially blessed civilization in history, we have largely lost touch with the power and grace of the Holy Spirit which is ours merely for the sincere willingness to receive it. How can we become more willing and nurture our openness to receive the spirit? Isha Das is so pleased to bring all of this to us today from his humble room in Assisi, Italy. Ciao!

Dear Friends,

If there is one thing we instinctively know to be true about God, it is that God's love is unconditional—no matter who we are or what we may do. Yet, it is also true that in order to be able to receive God's unconditional love, we must align ourselves with the Eternal Dharma, in simple terms "the way God has designed things to work on planet earth." Therefore, precepts such as the Ten Commandments, the Beatitudes, or the Yamas and Niyamas are not rules we must follow in order to earn God's love, but guidelines that we must follow in order to be able to receive God's love. Today's Gospel, which begins with Jesus saying to his disciples, "If you love me, keep my commandments" explains this paradox. If we take to heart what Jesus teaches us today, we will be empowered to live lives of goodness, purpose, and joy.

Yours in loving service,
Isha Das

Today on Mother's Day, I would like to bring you some deeply meaningful truth from the heart of Mary Magdalene, one of Jesus' closest disciples. Fragments of her written testimony, discovered only 150 years ago, offer a priceless look into her reality. Mary Magdalene teaches us one of the most essential truths of the spiritual life: that we will never be able to let go of our present lives until we have an intuition of the freedom of a fully surrendered, divine life, where we exist fully within God's truth, beauty, and goodness. What a treasure! I pray that this message will resonate within you today.

Yours in loving service,
Isha Das

Many people say, "I'm spiritual, but not religious" after growing up in a particular religious tradition. What exactly is the relationship between religion and knowing God? Does religion help or hurt? And what is the difference between religion and spirituality? Can you have one without the other? Finally, what is mysticism or a mystical experience? Today, Isha Das departs from his usual format and focuses on these essential questions. The good news in the spiritual life is this: there is always more! Indeed, any genuine relationship with God is ever evolving into greater and greater levels of truth, beauty, and goodness. Today, Isha Das will close this reflection with a simple meditation experience which will bless your day.
