HAWARDEN, IOWA ~ Judith “Judy” Arline Danielson, 79, of LeMars, Iowa, formerly of Hawarden, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at Accura Healthcare of LeMars, in LeMars.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 8, 2026, at Porter Funeral Home in Hawarden, Iowa with Jeff Rabey her nephew officiating. Burial will follow at Grace Hill Cemetery. Alvord, IA: Robert “Zeb” Newborg, 88, of Alvord, Iowa, passed away Monday, June 1, 2026, at his home under the loving care of his family and Gentiva Hospice. Visitation with the family present will be held Friday, June 5, from 9:30-10:30 AM at Porter Funeral Home of Inwood, Iowa. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Rob Horstman officiating. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery of rural Inwood.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for a charity designated at a later date in memory of Bob.

Jerry Dean Meins was born May 29, 1947, in Hawarden, Iowa, the son of Otto and Bernadine (Muth) Meins. He entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at his home in Missouri City, Texas, at the age of 78.

Memorial Service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 6, 2026, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Ireton, Iowa with Rev. Michael Boothby officiating. Inurnment will follow the service at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Ireton. A time of lunch and fellowship will be at the Ireton Community Center following the burial. INWOOD, IOWA ~ Marjorie “Marge” Ann Kooistra, 86, of Inwood, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Fellowship Village in Inwood. She was surrounded by her loving family. Gene, her faithful companion for 67 years, was holding her hand. She will be missed. We will miss her smile. We will miss the way she cared about others, even as she faced challenges. We will miss her ever-present sense of humor. Even in her last days, she found happiness and joy in conversations and time spent with those who loved her.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, May 28, at Inwood Christian Reformed Church with Rick Rozeboom, her grandson, officiating. Burial will follow at Richland Cemetery at Inwood. Sharon Jean Verduin (Breuer) passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on May 19th, after a brief illness. True to her strong and stubborn nature, she held on as long as she could before her Savior called her home.
A small family service will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church near Hull, Iowa.
