We had the sweetest visit from a group of Girl Scouts who came to spend time with our residents—and what started as a simple gardening project turned into something so much more meaningful.

Side by side, young hands and wise hands dug into the soil, planting flowers, herbs, and little pieces of joy. Stories were shared, laughter echoed through the courtyard, and for a while, time seemed to slow down. 🌼

Our residents lit up watching the girls work with such care and curiosity, and the girls listened, learned, and connected in a way that you just can’t teach. It was beautiful to see generations come together—not just to plant a garden, but to grow kindness, understanding, and love.

Moments like these remind us that no one is ever too young or too old to make a difference in someone’s day.

Thank you to these amazing Girl Scouts for bringing so much light, energy, and heart into our community. You didn’t just plant flowers—you planted smiles that will last far beyond today. 🌱💛

We are crazy about our turtles! Even our Executive Director gets excited when he finds a baby! Look how cute that little guy is. We are starting to see some new babies hatch, so be on the lookout for tiny turtles.
