A major step forward in the next chapter of care at UNC Health Nash.

In early May, the final beam was placed on our new inpatient tower—marking meaningful progress in a seven-story, $165 million investment in the future of healthcare in our community. Scheduled for completion in late 2027, the tower will feature larger, private patient rooms designed to support comfort, safety, and healing.

For years, UNC Health Nash has been a trusted part of this region. Now, as the next chapter takes shape, we’re strengthening our commitment to meet the evolving needs of our community.

Ever wondered what happens behind the red line? 🩺 This summer, we’re inviting middle and high school students to step inside and see it for themselves.

Behind the Red Line: Health Science Summer Camp is a hands-on morning at UNC Health Nash where students can explore what it’s really like to work in healthcare—from trying out surgical and robot simulations to learning CPR and airway skills alongside our team.

Hosted by UNC Health Nash in partnership with The Collaborative of NC State University and East Carolina University, this experience is designed to spark curiosity and open doors to future careers in healthcare.

Did you know? 🚐 OIC of Rocky Mount and UNC Health Nash are working together to expand access to primary care by bringing the OIC mobile unit to more locations in the community each month.

The OIC mobile unit offers essential healthcare services, including annual health screenings, physical examinations, blood pressure checks, diabetes screenings, and chronic disease management.

See the attached calendar for the June schedule, including dates, times, and locations. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments can be scheduled in advance by calling 252-955-1788.
