"The beach with a novel is my happy place and I love to swim and teach young kids to swim. Although I'm not artistic, I've done several paint by numbers for my house. Some of my favorite memories are of doing medical missions in Central America and Africa. My favorite place I've ever visited is Israel. I've graduated one kid to college. I love cooking for my high school son and his friends because they love to eat, and I love my big Labrador and my little Cavachon lap dog."

We are so blessed to have such an amazing nurse practitioner like Megan! Her heart is as big as Texas, and she gives everyone such joy when she enters the room! Here are a few words from Megan to know a little more about her......

A few fun facts about me! 😊

I’m left-handed, love to two-step, build LEGOs, and I’m currently learning to bake… although I can’t say I’m great at it yet! 🤣

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, but I love decorating for all of them. I also genuinely love yardwork and starting new projects—finishing them before I change my mind is sometimes another story!

One of my favorite parts of being a nurse practitioner is teaching kids and families, especially when it comes to prevention and keeping kids safe. Sunscreen, helmets, seatbelts, internet safety—you’ll probably hear me talk about all of them!

And someday, I’d love to have a therapy dog in the clinic. Of course, the dog would be there to help our patients… but I have a feeling I might enjoy having them around just as much. 🐾❤️

We have some exciting news at Ozark Pediatrics! 📞

Over the past several months, we know some of our families have experienced difficulties reaching our office by phone. We’ve been actively troubleshooting these issues with our current phone system, and we sincerely apologize for any frustration or inconvenience this may have caused.

Most importantly, we want you to know that **we heard you, we identified the problems, and a better solution is on the way.**

Beginning in October, Ozark Pediatrics will be transitioning to a brand-new phone provider and system designed to make communication with our office easier and more reliable.

Being available when your child needs us is incredibly important to our entire team. We are grateful for your patience as we’ve worked through these challenges, and we’re genuinely excited about this change and the improved experience it will bring to our families.

It's taken us a bit to find where some of the calls were going, which to be honest has been very frustrating as we knew we were attending to everyone as soon as as we could!

Thank you for trusting Ozark Pediatrics with your children. We don’t take that trust lightly, and we look forward to serving you even better. ❤️
