From exploring the charming apple barns and taking in the gorgeous fall foliage to enjoying some mouthwatering barbecue, we made memories every step of the way! 🍎🍖🍁

🇺🇸📜 We took a step back in time at Brookdale Rome! George Washington himself stopped by to bring history to life with a fascinating lesson about our nation’s past. Dressed in historically inspired attire reminiscent of what our first president would have worn during the 18th century, he gave our residents a unique glimpse into the world of America’s founding era.

From the clothing of the time to the stories that shaped our country, it was a wonderful opportunity to learn, reminisce, and experience a little living history! We love bringing history to life here at Brookdale Rome! 🇺🇸✨

We had a wonderful time celebrating our October birthdays with a delicious lunch, birthday cake, and fantastic music from Wesley! 🎶🥳 There’s nothing better than gathering together, sharing a few sweet treats, singing along to some favorite tunes, and making special memories with our Brookdale family. ❤️

🦖🦕 Talk about a dino-mite history lesson! Terry joined us at Brookdale Rome for another one of his amazing history presentations—this time taking us way back to the time of the dinosaurs! 🌋🦴

As our resident archaeologist for the day, Terry had everyone fascinated while sharing fun facts and stories about these incredible creatures that once roamed the Earth. His presentations are always full of fun, learning and plenty of excitement!

We always look forward to seeing what Terry has in store next! 📚🦖✨

🎡❤️ What a wonderful day at the Coosa Valley Fair for Senior Day! We had the best time enjoying the festivities, seeing so many familiar faces, and making memories together.

And we couldn’t be prouder of our very own Mrs. Glenda, who participated in Miss Senior Coosa Valley! 👑✨ She looked absolutely beautiful and did an amazing job, escorted by our Maintenance Director, Hayden. We were all cheering her on!

It was such a fun and special day for our Brookdale Rome family. We’re already looking forward to making more memories at the fair next year! 🎠💖

‼️Hurricane Isaias Update‼️

Hurricane Isaias is approaching the Gulf Coast. It is projected to make landfall late Friday or early Saturday. Our community is closely watching Hurricane Isaias and is preparing.

Our residents' ongoing well-being is our primary goal. We have a storm preparedness plan in place, preparing generator power, emergency supplies of food and water and medications and oxygen.

We had the sweetest time at Brookdale Rome, enjoying some delicious donuts, good conversation, and plenty of chitchat! Sometimes the best moments are the simple ones—sharing a sweet treat and spending time together. 💕✨

🎉 What a BIG day at Brookdale Rome! 🎉

We’re celebrating Assisted Living Week in true Brookdale Rome style—with good food, sweet treats, games, music, and plenty of smiles! 🌮🍦🎲🎶

Rodonna helped keep our associates fueled up with delicious tacos, then brought everyone together for a fun ice cream social for our residents and associates! 🍨 Our residents also had a blast playing Candy Dice, and the fun didn’t stop there!

To top it all off, Georgia Mountain Music came out and filled Brookdale Rome with some amazing tunes! 🎵💃

What a day filled with laughter, fellowship, and celebrating the wonderful people who make Brookdale Rome so special! ❤️✨

🎉 We’re soaking up ALL the flavors of Fall this Assisted Living Week! 🎉

From delicious treats—including the most amazing apple cobbler brought by Jennifer 🍎🥧—to jamming out with Papa Sway 🎶, there’s been no shortage of fun!

Of course, we had to make sure we got nice and relaxed with Kimbi before all the excitement. 💆‍♀️✨

Good food, great music, plenty of relaxation, and even better memories—that’s how we’re celebrating Assisted Living Week! ❤️🎉
