How do I know if I need therapy?
You don't have to wait until you're in crisis to benefit from therapy. If stress, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, or difficult life changes are interfering with your daily life, therapy may help. Seeking support is a sign of strength, not weakness.
What happens during the first therapy session?
Your first session is an opportunity to get to know your therapist in a comfortable, confidential setting. You'll talk about what's bringing you to therapy, discuss your goals, ask questions, and work together to determine the best path forward. There's no pressure to share everything at once. Therapy moves at your pace.
Can therapy help with burnout?
Yes. Burnout can affect your emotional, mental, and even physical well-being. Therapy can help you identify sources of stress, develop healthy coping strategies, establish boundaries, and regain balance in your personal and professional life.
How long does therapy take to work?
Everyone's journey is different. Some people notice positive changes after just a few sessions, while others benefit from longer-term support. The length of therapy depends on your goals, your unique circumstances, and the challenges you're working through. The most important step is simply getting started.
