Today, we had a wonderful baby shower celebrating Ashley Kaufman and the upcoming arrival of her sweet baby boy! 💙

Our Community was filled with games, delicious refreshments, laughter, and lots of fun as we gathered to celebrate this special occasion. It was a beautiful day filled with joy, love, and excitement for the newest little one on the way.

What a wonderful day of Bingo, laughter, and fellowship! 🎉

Our volunteers had a fantastic time spending the day with the members of high rise apartments and the residents of Sabetha Manor. It was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to come together, socialize, make new connections, and enjoy some friendly competition.

There were plenty of smiles, laughs, and exciting Bingo wins throughout the day! More than just a game, the gathering gave everyone a chance to visit with one another, share stories, and enjoy the simple pleasure of being together as a community.

A heartfelt thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers, members, and residents who helped make the day so special. We are grateful for the time, friendship, and joy everyone brought to the event. Days like this remind us how important community, companionship, and a little fun can be! ❤️

Mya began her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where she developed strong skills in providing compassionate, hands-on care and supporting the daily needs of residents. Through her dedication, hard work, and commitment to continued learning, Mya recently earned her certification as a Medication Aide. This accomplishment reflects her desire to grow professionally and take on additional responsibilities in providing safe and quality care. Mya’s experience as a CNA, combined with her new skills as a Medication Aide, allows her to provide well-rounded support while continuing to make a positive difference in the lives of our residents. Congratulations Mya!

Dimensions of Wellness at Sabetha Manor

At Sabetha Manor, our residents have opportunities to participate in activities that support the many dimensions of wellness. Playing basketball encourages physical wellness by promoting movement, coordination, strength, and healthy activity. Baking supports emotional, social, and intellectual wellness by encouraging creativity, following directions, sharing memories, and enjoying time together. Doing crafts promotes emotional and intellectual wellness by allowing residents to express themselves, use their creativity, and build confidence while enjoying a meaningful activity.

These activities also provide opportunities for social wellness, as residents can work together, share conversations, encourage one another, and build friendships. At Sabetha Manor, we believe that providing enjoyable and meaningful activities helps our residents stay active, connected, creative, and engaged while supporting their overall quality of life.

This morning residents of Sabetha Manor gathered by the water with fishing poles in hand, eager to enjoy the day together. Friendly competition filled the air as they laughed over stories about the ones that got away. Every catch, big or small, was met with cheers and good-natured teasing. As the sun climbed higher, it became clear that the greatest reward wasn't the fish they caught, but the friendships they strengthened and the memories they made together. For the residents of Sabetha Manor, fishing was more than a pastime, it was a tradition that brought everyone closer.

A special thank you to Elsie for bringing her animals to Sabetha Manor for a pet therapy visit. Her kindness and generosity provided our residents with a wonderful opportunity to interact with the animals, creating moments of joy, comfort, and connection. The visit sparked smiles, conversations, and cherished memories throughout the day. Our residents truly enjoyed spending time with the animals and greatly appreciated Elsie’s thoughtfulness in sharing them with us. We are grateful for her visit and the happiness she brought to the Sabetha Manor community.
