July is UV Safety Awareness Month.

Your eyes need sun protection just as much as your skin. UV rays can reach your eyes even on cloudy days, and over time they can contribute to cataracts and other eye conditions.

The good news is that protection is simple. Choose sunglasses that block 100 percent of UVA and UVB rays, add a wide-brim hat on bright days, and do not save your shades for summer alone.
