It was great to be part of Bellaire Middle School Field Day today at Nelson Field. We connected with so many young people who stopped by to learn more about mental wellness, healthy relationships, and available support resources.

The students were kind, inquisitive, and engaged throughout the day.

Thank you for including us, and congratulations to Bellaire Local Schools for organizing such a wonderful day focused on wellness, connection, and community.

Tri-County Help Center was excited to kick off Mental Health Awareness Month by participating in St. Clairsville-Richland City Schools' "Every Moment Matters Day" at St. Clairsville High School.‼️

Students spent the day participating in elective sessions focused on emotional and physical wellness, as well as developing life skills that support success both inside and outside the classroom.💚💚💚💚

Community Education Advocate Misty Klug presented the programs "Building Your Mental Wellness Game Plan and Real Talk with Adults." 💪💯

During these sessions, students learned practical strategies for creating a personalized mental wellness plan to help navigate challenging times. 📝They also gained confidence in communicating with parents, caregivers, and trusted adults through effective conversation and communication techniques designed to make difficult discussions easier to begin.

Congratulations to St. Clairsville High School for hosting such an impactful and important event, and thank you for including Tri-County Help Center in this meaningful day of learning and growth. 👏👏👏

If your school or organization is interested in educational programs focused on mental health topics, healthy relationships, domestic violence or sexual assault prevention, please contact Misty Klug at 740-695-5441. 📞

👖In honor of International Denim Day, observed on the last Wednesday of April, we stand in solidarity with survivors of sexual assault and speak out against victim-blaming.

🌎This global movement began after a ruling by the Italian Supreme Court overturned a r**e conviction, arguing that because the victim was wearing tight jeans, she must have helped remove them—implying consent. ‼️🚫

In protest, women in the Italian Parliament wore jeans to work the following day, igniting a movement that continues worldwide.🔥

📢The message remains clear: clothing is never consent, and victim-blaming is never acceptable.💯

Staff at Tri-County Help Center proudly wore denim today, joined by the Belmont County Commissioners, in a united show of support for survivors and a shared commitment to ending victim-blaming in Belmont County and beyond. 👏🙌🫶

We walked (and danced!) in the rain for the final weekend of Sexual Assault Awareness Month at TCHC’s annual Chalk the Walk for PAWSitive Impact at Sally Buffalo Park in Cadiz.

Thank you to everyone—both two- and four-legged—who joined us for a day of connection, support, and community.

The simple act of walking alongside each other is a powerful statement that survivors are not alone.
