Updated Flood Outlook
All reservoirs continue to receive a good amount of precipitation. Please note that South Crow Creek and Post Creek, in particular, will experience an increase in outflow in the next few hours, as of Monday morning, June 1st.
Pending rainfall, Mission Creek’s flow may also experience an increase in volume. Please stay clear of these creeks and the fast-moving water they produce. Officials are closely monitoring the flooding and taking water-control measures. Nearby residents may notice impacts from these fluctuations and should take necessary precautions. Until this storm passes this week, please remain flood-aware when traveling Highway 93 or roadways in the vicinity of creeks, canals, or reservoirs.
If your home or workplace is flooding and your safety is in danger, please call 911. FIIP staff are working around the clock to keep up with the continued precipitation. For assistance with water issues related to the Flathead Indian Irrigation Project (FIIP), call (406) 745-2661. This is the main operations and dispatch line in St. Ignatius, MT, which manages canal emergencies, gate operations, and maintenance across the Flathead Reservation. Your call may go to the message line.
