That 3 p.m. sugar craving might be trying to tell you something.

Maybe lunch was a little light. Maybe you did not get enough protein or fiber. Maybe you are tired, stressed, or simply running low on energy.

Before blaming willpower, get curious.

Your craving might not be the problem. It might be information about what your body needed hours ago.

That is where the fine tuning begins.

What time of day do your sugar cravings usually hit?

Stress doesn’t just affect your mood…it can change the way you eat, too.

Maybe you snack all day. Maybe you crave quick comfort foods. Or maybe you get so busy and overwhelmed that suddenly it’s 4 p.m. and you realize you haven’t eaten.

Instead of jumping straight to “I need more willpower,” get curious about the pattern.

Sometimes our eating habits are less about discipline and more about what we’re carrying.

Awareness first. Fine tuning second.

When you’re stressed, are you more likely to eat more or forget to eat?

I think I officially found my most craved salad of the summer.

Cold chicken curry salad with crisp green apples…and let me tell you, the apples sealed the deal.

Creamy. Crunchy. A little sweet. A little savory. And SO good tucked into a crisp romaine boat or scooped up with your favorite crackers.

This one has been on repeat around here.

ESTROGEN ROULETTE
Can we talk about the estrogen patch situation for a minute?

More women are having conversations about HRT and giving it a try, and THAT part makes me ridiculously happy.

But apparently my estrogen patch has become the hottest ticket in town.

Every trip to the pharmacy lately feels like:
Which patch are we getting this time?!

One brand leaves me with a lovely little rash.
Another leaves behind so much sticky residue that my belly looks like I removed a strip of duct tape.

And it has me wondering… with shortages and increased demand, are we seeing differences in the patches themselves, or does my belly just have VERY strong opinions about estrogen brands?

Either way, I am thrilled more women are talking about HRT, asking questions, and advocating for their health.

I’d just also like my estrogen… without the complimentary belly artwork.

Anyone else playing Estrogen Patch Roulette at the pharmacy lately?

Eight hours of sleep and you STILL wake up tired?

Sleep matters, a l ot, but it’s only one piece of the energy puzzle. Stress, nutrition, hydration, movement, recovery, and that never-ending mental load can all play a role in how energized you feel.

So instead of only asking, “Am I sleeping enough?” try asking:

“What might be draining me while I’m awake?”

Sometimes that’s where the fine tuning begins.

Anyone else ever get a full night’s sleep and wake up ready for…another full night’s sleep?

Apparently my version of meditation sometimes comes with a lawn mower. 😂🌱

I’m not sure if it’s the cool earmuffs, the repetitive back and forth, or the VERY satisfying sight of freshly cut grass…but mowing our lawn genuinely calms me down.

And that’s your Mindful Monday reminder:

Mindfulness doesn’t always mean sitting still.

It can be walking. Gardening. Cooking. Mowing the lawn. Being outside. Or simply doing something that quiets the noise in your head and brings you into the moment.

What’s something that relaxes YOU that might not look like traditional meditation? Tell me below! 👇

And if you could use a little intentional calm before your week gets rolling, join me next Monday at 7 AM inside my Skool community for a Mindful Monday moment. 💜

Coffee lovers, relax… I’m NOT coming for your coffee. 😂☕️

But before we ask caffeine to do the job of sleep, hydration AND breakfast, maybe we give our bodies a little something to work with first.

Keep the coffee. 💜
Just fine tune what happens around it.

Because better health doesn’t always mean taking something away—sometimes it means adding what’s missing. 🌿

☕️ Be honest: coffee first or breakfast first?
