Happy Halloween! 🎃 Today is also the last day of National Disability Employment Awareness Month — and what a month it's been. Thank you to every employer who opened a door, every partner who cheered someone on, and every person served who took a brave next step. October ends tonight. Inclusion doesn't. 🎪 The circus came to Wapakoneta!

Toni, one of our Community Consultants, and her group brought the big top to trunk-or-treat at Harvest Baptist Church of Wapakoneta — complete with a lion, a strongman, a ringmaster, and a clown — and had a wonderful time handing out treats and celebrating with the community.

A huge thank-you to Harvest Baptist Church for hosting such a fun event, and to the West Ohio Food Bank in Lima for donating the candy we handed out. And thank you to everyone who stopped by our trunk — you made our night!

This is what our Community Clubs are all about: being out in the community, building relationships, and having fun together. 🎃🍬

NDEAM wraps up this week, but inclusion doesn't end on October 31 — and neither does Halloween fun. 🎃 Last year we served 4,628 people, and every one of them deserves a community that makes room: a little extra patience at the door, a treat that doesn't have to be candy, and no requirement to say "trick or treat" out loud. This Saturday, let's make every porch a welcoming one.
