Grief is not a straight line. It doesn’t follow a schedule, and it certainly doesn’t look the same for everyone.
The five stages of grief can help us understand some of the emotions that may come after a loss, but they aren’t a checklist. You may move between stages, revisit them, or experience them in a completely different order.
Wherever you are in your grief journey, please know you’re not alone. Be gentle with yourself. Healing doesn’t mean forgetting—it means finding a way to move forward while carrying the love that remains. 💙
