Professional Human Massage Therapy Some spaces weren't built for you. This one was. Throughout my life, the mind-body connection has captivated me.

Veterans, LGBTQ+ gender-diverse people, differently abled bodies, and anyone who's been running on empty — you belong on this table. Initially, I delved into massage therapy in the 1990s before building a career in ceramics, sculpture, and, later, hospice care. The COVID-19 pandemic steered me back to massage therapy, leading to my graduation from the San Francisco School of Massage and Bodywork. I specialize in Swedish and deep-tissue massage techniques, with additional training in myofascial release and lymphatic detox. My art and hospice care background has endowed me with intuitive hands and deep empathy, qualities I leverage to assist clients, especially those recovering from addiction or trauma. Massage therapy is an intimate dialogue, prioritizing attentive listening and skillful technique to tailor each treatment plan. I retired as Professor Emeritus of Fine Art from Sonoma State University in 2021, and further details on my background can be found on my website: www.studioc2.squarespace.com.

On October 1, 2024, Professional Human opened its doors. Two years later, we’re still here, and that’s because of clients like you who showed up, trusted us, and came back.
So this anniversary, the gift is yours:
25% off your next massage
PLUS a free 15-minute Extra Time add-on ($25 value)
More time on the table, less on the bill. In a world that keeps us glued to screens and apart from each other, that extra quarter hour of real, human care matters.
