Restoring Hip Movement May Help Relieve Chronic Low Back Pain.

In a study of 36 patients undergoing treatment for chronic low back pain, researchers found that improvements in hip mobility were associated with reductions in lower back pain. The findings highlight the close relationship between the hips and lower back, suggesting that evaluating movement throughout the kinetic chain may help identify factors contributing to persistent low back pain.

Staying Connected and Active May Boost Sense of Purpose.

High Blood Pressure Remains the Leading Heart Disease Risk.

Disease burden refers to the overall impact of a disease on a population, including illness, disability, and risk of early death.
