Language Essentials, Inc. Language Essentials is an excellent choice for professional speech-language pathology. Our licensed Language Essentials is a teaching facility.

Our licensed therapists serve The Tri Valley, the Greater East Bay Area and the San Joaquin Valley at our offices in San Ramon and Livermore. We are associated with California State University, East Bay Graduate Speech Pathology Program, Gallaudet University Graduate School of Speech Pathology and Delta College's Speech Language Pathologist Assistant Program. Every year Language Essentials supervises several student interns. Students work in conjunction with their supervisor at Language Essentials to fulfill client needs. Language Essentials is committed to supporting the development of the science and practice of speech-language pathology.

🎃💜 October is AAC Awareness Month! Let’s make Halloween more accessible for everyone! 👻🍬

At Language Essentials, we created a special Halloween Trick-or-Treat AAC Visual Support Aid that you can attach to your trick-or-treat bucket to help make communicating on Halloween a little easier!

But we thought… why stop with our own clients? 💜 We wanted to bring these visual supports into our broader community so more children and families can experience a Halloween that’s welcoming, inclusive, and accessible. Because every child deserves the opportunity to participate, communicate, and enjoy the magic of trick-or-treating! 🧡

🎃 Making Halloween more accessible and inclusive, one trick-or-treat bucket at a time! 💜👻

At Language Essentials, we’ve been putting our Halloween Trick-or-Treat AAC Visual Support Aids on buckets and sharing them with local businesses, especially Halloween stores, to help make Halloween a little more accessible and inclusive for everyone! 🧡

These visual supports help make communication more accessible during trick-or-treating, helping more children participate in the Halloween fun. 🍬

After just one year of early intervention speech and language therapy, Ace has made incredible progress and surpassed his developmental milestones! 🌟 His hard work, combined with his family’s dedication to practicing skills at home and carrying over strategies from therapy, helped make this achievement possible.

We’re so proud of Ace and grateful to his family for being such wonderful partners in his speech and language journey. Way to go, Ace! We can’t wait to see all the amazing things you accomplish next! 💜

🎃 Halloween Spirit Week is coming to Language Essentials! 👻

Little ghosts and ghoulies, we summon you! Join us October 26–30 for our in-office Trick-or-Treat Spirit Week! 🕸️

Our pediatric speech and occupational therapy sessions are getting a spooky twist! Kids are welcome to come dressed in costume and celebrate alongside our costumed therapists and staff while building communication skills, confidence, and connections through play. 💜

From OT intern to Occupational Therapist! 💜

We were so lucky to have Dani join Language Essentials not once, but twice, completing her OT internships alongside our Occupational Therapy team. She worked hard, jumped in wherever needed, and was a huge help during our summer camps!

Dani, thank you for everything you brought to our team. It was wonderful having you with us, and we can’t wait to see all you accomplish in your future as an Occupational Therapist! Wishing you all the best—we hope to see you again soon!
