We would like to recognize our VP of Business Development Johnny Clay for exemplifying the true meaning of compassionate healthcare and leadership. While traveling together to one of our accounts, he noticed a young woman experiencing a medical emergency on the side of the road. He pulled over and without hesitation, he sprang into action, providing care while someone contacted 911.

Watching him respond in that moment was a powerful reminder that he is not only an exceptional leader, but also someone who genuinely lives out his passion for helping others. His calm demeanor, quick thinking, and willingness to step in during a critical situation may have made a significant difference in the outcome.

We wanted to take this opportunity to recognize Johnny for his actions and thank him for being an example of what healthcare is all about: caring for people when they need it most! Thank you Johnny Clay!! 💙👏🏻

What is Speech Therapy?
Speech therapy provides assistance in regaining speech abilities which may have been impaired following an illness or accident. Our licensed speech-language pathologists evaluate your specific challenges and develop personalized treatment plans to help you restore communication skills and safe swallowing function. We understand how frustrating communication difficulties can be, and we’re committed to helping you reconnect with family and friends.

Our speech therapists provide instruction on communication and swallowing techniques that are essential for your safety and quality of life. For patients experiencing swallowing difficulties (dysphagia), we teach exercises that strengthen swallowing muscles and assess which food textures are safest for you. We work closely with your physician to prevent complications and maintain proper nutrition and hydration.

We also provide intervention for hearing impairment and neurological disorders that affect communication and cognitive function. Through specialized exercises and compensatory strategies, we help improve memory, attention, problem-solving, and social communication skills. With patience, practice, and proven therapeutic techniques, many patients experience significant improvements in their ability to communicate and swallow safely.
