We had our annual Skills Lab at Apex last week.

It’s always good seeing everyone together, but what we liked most about the day is that it gives our clinical team time to slow down and go back over the things they use every day with patients.

There’s a big difference between knowing something and staying sharp with it.

When families trust us to come into their homes and care for someone they love, I want our team to feel confident in what they’re doing and supported enough to ask questions when they need to.

That’s what days like this are for.

A lot of learning, a lot of catching up, and yes, we made sure there was a raffle too. 😆

We had a wonderful time at Discovery Commons Whittier speaking about one of the most common and preventable health concerns affecting older adults: dehydration.

It was a pleasure connecting with residents, staff, and community members while sharing practical tips on recognizing the warning signs and helping older adults stay healthy and hydrated.
