Art of Balance | Tom Stephens

Tom Stephens is one of several professional artists whose work is featured throughout Balance.

If you’ve spent time at Balance, you’ve likely seen Tom’s work. Several of his large- and small-scale paintings are displayed throughout the gym, bringing color, movement, and energy to the space.

A Sarasota-based artist and Ringling College of Art and Design graduate, Tom has been painting since he was 12 years old. His work is inspired by Florida’s coastal landscapes and marine environment, ranging from vibrant coastal scenes to expressive abstract paintings.

What we appreciate most is the way his artwork influences the experience of being here. Tom’s paintings help create an environment that feels creative, welcoming, and engaging. They add personality to the space and contribute to the atmosphere our clients experience every day.

In addition to his work as an artist, Tom is also a licensed charter boat captain and custom fishing rod builder, bringing the same creativity and craftsmanship to everything he does.

Meet Chad Myers!

Chad’s work extends far beyond the workout floor. As an Executive Coach, Personal Trainer, and Longevity Coach, he helps clients create meaningful change through a combination of fitness, mindset, behavioral change, and healthy lifestyle habits.

His clients range from professionals looking to perform at a higher level in business and life to adults focused on staying strong, active, and fully engaged as they age.

Inside Balance is our way of introducing the people who help shape the experience here every day. The trainers, teachers, therapists, and coaches who bring their own energy, perspective, and passion into the space.

Meet Paolo Perez!

Paolo brings positivity, focus, and a strong coaching presence to the floor. His sessions combine strength training, HIIT, running, and mobility work with an approach that’s encouraging, approachable, and built around helping people feel more confident in their bodies.

With a background rooted in athletics and soccer, Paolo understands movement, discipline, and consistency. But more importantly, he understands people. His training style pushes clients while still making the process enjoyable and sustainable.

He’s also a big believer in the habits outside the gym:
quality sleep, recovery, stretching, nutrition, and learning to stay patient with yourself through the process.

Recovery supports the work you put in.

At Balance, recovery can look different for everyone. For some, it’s incorporating Active Isolated Stretching into a workout to improve mobility, release tension, and support better movement patterns. For others, it’s dedicated recovery work designed to help the body reset and restore.

We also offer Thai Massage with Colin Fairweather, combining assisted stretching and therapeutic bodywork to help improve flexibility, reduce tightness, and support long-term performance and recovery.

Meet Clee Ellie!

Fitness and athletics have always been part of Clee’s story. From football, baseball, and basketball growing up to playing college basketball at Rowan University, movement and performance have shaped the way he approaches coaching today.

Clee brings energy, experience, and a genuine passion for helping people move better, feel stronger, and build confidence at every stage of life. His background in both Youth Fitness and Senior Fitness gives him a unique ability to connect with clients across generations, meeting people where they are and helping them keep going.

And yes… he’s a diehard Philadelphia sports fan. Eagles, Phillies, Sixers, and Flyers included.
