This is my favorite practice

I remember finding restorative yoga after I had been a long distance runner for quite some time.

The first few weeks that I practiced, I had emotional release every single time I would get on my mat

My body had been holding so much tension for so long and in these longer holding postures within restorative yoga, the body is fully supported and held in order to fully let go and relax ❤️
