We remember Bob White, who ran his COLTS paratransit van with humor and compassion as he transported many of us across Lackawanna County. RIP Wh**ey.
💙 Remembering Robert “Bob” White 💙
It is with heavy hearts that the COLTS family mourns the passing of our friend and former colleague, Robert “Bob” White, who passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 23, 2026.
Bob began his career with COLTS as a Shared Ride Operator in December 2013 and faithfully served our community for more than 12 years before retiring in March 2026.
Funny, kind, and generous, Bob had a way of making those around him smile. Whether he was sharing a laugh with coworkers or helping the passengers who depended on him, Bob brought warmth, humor, and compassion to his work and the people around him.
Being a Shared Ride Operator is about more than providing transportation. It's about making connections, showing kindness, and making a difference in people's lives. Bob embodied those qualities, and we are grateful for the many years he dedicated to COLTS and our community.
We extend our deepest sympathies to Bob's wife, Kathy, his children, family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Once part of the COLTS family, always part of the COLTS family.
Rest in peace, Bob. Thank you for the laughter, the memories, and the kindness you shared with so many. You will be deeply missed. 💙
