🎀 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🎀

A mammogram is more than a screening. It's an opportunity to detect breast cancer early, often before symptoms appear, providing more treatment options and better outcomes.
This month, take time for yourself and your health. If you're due for a mammogram, talk with your healthcare provider and schedule your screening. Because when it comes to breast cancer, early detection matters.

MEET THE EXPERT 🤍

We’re so excited to introduce one of the expert voices joining us for our Pregnancy + Preparing for Motherhood event on October 4:

Kristine Maxwell McNulty, MD, FACOG

Dr. McNulty is a board-certified OB-GYN with nearly two decades of experience caring for women right here in Northeastern Pennsylvania - and we are incredibly grateful to have her joining this conversation.

A Pittston Area graduate, Dr. McNulty went on to graduate summa cm laude from Wilkes University before attending medical school at Hahnemann University School of Medicine and completing her OB-GYN residency at Jefferson Abington Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident.

Today, she practices at Moses Taylor Hospital and serves as Chairman of Obstetrics for Moses Taylor Hospital/Regional Hospital. She’s also deeply involved in educating the next generation of healthcare providers through Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine, Marywood University, King’s College and other regional programs.

But what we’re most excited about is giving women in our community the opportunity to be in the room with an experienced OB-GYN and have real, approachable conversations about pregnancy, preparing for birth, their changing bodies and the transition into motherhood.

Because part of the reason we created this series is simple: women deserve access to trusted information, expert voices and local resources before they’re left wondering where to turn.

Dr. McNulty will be joining us as part of our expert panel on:

🤍 Pregnancy + Preparing for Motherhood
📅 October 4 | 1–3 PM
📍 The Salt Barre

Prenatal movement + breathwork. Education. Expert voices. Local resources. And a space to ask the questions that actually matter to you.

We can’t wait for you to meet her. 🤍
