😂 We’re all for a little plot twist… just not on surgery day.

But seriously…. GLP-1 medications are something your surgical team needs to know about **before your procedure**. We have specific guidelines around when these medications should be stopped before and after surgery, and undisclosed use will result in your surgery being .

If you’re taking a GLP-1, be sure to talk with your surgeon’s office about their specific guidelines well before your surgery date. 💉🩺

Honesty = fewer surprises = a much smoother surgery day. ❤️

Thinking about scheduling a consultation with Dr. Salemy? Here’s your little cheat sheet for making your visit as easy as possible:
✨ Consultation days: Dr. Salemy meets with new patients on Wednesdays and limited Fridays.
💳 Consultation fee: There is a $100 consultation fee due at the time of scheduling.
🅿️ Give yourself extra time for parking. We recommend arriving 15 minutes early. Parking can take a little longer than expected, so we’d rather have you relaxed than circling the garage wondering if you’re in a reality show. 😂
📍 GPS tip: Type “Marion Minor Parking Garage”into your GPS. It will get you much closer to where you need to be.
🏢 Our address is 1101 Madison Street.
And yes… we are also Suite #1101 on the 11th floor.😂
We promise we’re not trying to confuse you. It just happened to work out that way.
📅 Bring your calendar!
If you’re hoping to schedule surgery, bring your work schedule, vacation plans, childcare calendar, or whatever else you need to coordinate. Finding the perfect surgery date can sometimes be the hardest part of the whole process — so having your calendar with you can save a lot of back-and-forth.
And most importantly, bring your questions! Your consultation is your time to meet with Dr. Salemy, discuss your goals, and determine what options may be right for you.

POV: You thought recovery restrictions were only ONE WEEK... 😳😂

Our nurses understood the assignment. (And yes... that’s Dr. Salemy making a special appearance. 😉)

If you’re thinking about breast augmentation, here are a few things to start considering:
✨ What size are you now?
✨ What size do you want to be?
✨ Motiva Ergonomix® or Round implants?
✨ And most importantly... are you ready to give your body the time it needs to heal?

Think your daily supplements are ‘no big deal’ before surgery? 🌿🍵

Certain herbal supplements can increase bleeding risk or interact with anesthesia and patients often don’t realize it.

Bottom line: tell your care team about everything you take, from prescriptions to vitamins to herbal teas. Full transparency = safer surgery.💛
